Job Details:
• Work in Level 3 and Level 4 NICU with 146 total beds (64 Level 3&4, 82 Level 2)
• Patient ratios vary by acuity: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 weekday shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday coverage per unit guidelines
• 2 years of NICU experience required
• Must have skills in infant assessment, IV management, and respiratory support management
• Level 4 NICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: NRP and BLS
• Float to all NICU areas, General Nursery, and Pediatrics with infant assignments
• Work with typical NICU procedures including LP, central line placement, circumcision, and eye exams
• Use Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Work with all NICU equipment
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs, bare below the elbows including naked nails
• Focus on strong communication skills, teamwork, parent satisfaction, and patient safety
