Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week schedule
• 2:1 patient ratio for all shifts (days, nights, and weekends)
• Weekend coverage required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 6-bed ICU unit with daily census of 4 patients
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 3+ years of ICU experience preferred (will consider 2.5+ years)
• Travel experience required
• Must maintain 75-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
• Charting system: Evident EMR
• Block scheduling available on case-by-case basis
• Free on-site parking in designated lot
• No floating required to other units
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana - positive THC test results in contract termination
• Must provide 2 professional references at time of submission
• New Mexico nursing license must be obtained before start date
• Skills required include: ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, IV drip titration, blood product administration, and advanced cardiac monitoring
