Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

About Us: Boom Therapy Group is a patient focused practice with offices in Kings Mountain, Lincolnton, Mount Airy and Yadkinville, NC. We are excited to add another location in Rockingham, NC! We provide evaluation and treatment of pediatrics therapy primarily and do accept adults, however our locations serve 99% pediatric populations with an occasional adult patient. Treatment focuses on several issues including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing deficits. Our patients are treated in our outpatient clinics. The staff is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners and the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Our goal is to provide personalized speech therapy so that patients can reach their full potential. Our locations all have physical, occupational, and speech therapy together under one roof. 

About the Position: Private practice seeks SLP to work in Rockingham, NC with children in need of speech language services. 100% clinic-based; no travel, schools or homes. New grads and CFs are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

● Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy

● Therapists are encouraged to practice collaborative therapy alongside the other disciplines in the clinic to provide the best care to our patients.

● Identify goals for treatment and develop plan of care

Requirements:

● Valid NC license in Speech-Language Pathology

● Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

● Pediatric experience preferred
