Of Counsel - L&E, Public Sector, Constitutional

Growing Premier Public Law Firm Seeking Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (Litigation) in San Francisco (Hybrid)

 

A growing public law firm with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (Litigation) to join its team in San Francisco . This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful and complex litigation matters representing public agencies, local governments, and nonprofit organizations throughout California . This attorney will play a central role in significant litigation involving labor and employment, public sector law, and constitutional issues . 

 

Offer:

Salary range: $225,000-$260,000+ depending on experience

Qualifications:

10+ years of litigation experience with a focus on complex or public sector matters

Proven success managing and trying cases in state and federal courts

Strong expertise in labor and employment, constitutional, or government-related litigation

Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills with trial and appellate experience

Ability to develop and execute case strategy, manage discovery, and oversee motion practice

Experience supervising and mentoring associates and litigation staff

Commitment to serving public agencies and the public interest through impactful legal work

 

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

Lead trial efforts including witness examination, argument, and case presentation in court

Represent clients before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies such as the Public Employment Relations Board

Provide direct counsel to public sector clients on investigations, strategy, and ongoing litigation needs

Handle high-stakes labor, employment, and public law cases with complex statutory or constitutional issues

Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality representation

Contribute to firm leadership and mentorship of junior attorneys
