Garage Porter

The Garage Porter provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00a.m to 2:00p.m. Location: West Houston, TX 77079. Pay: $15.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience using equipment such as pressure washer, air blower, and other cleaning tools
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the corporate building's parking garage
• Sweep, blow leaves, and remove debris from garage floors and surrounding areas
• Gather and empty trash from designated receptacles
• Operate cleaning equipment including pressure washers and air blowers
• Clean stairwells, elevators, and other common areas within the garage
• Follow procedures for safe use of cleaning chemicals and power equipment
• Notify Manager of any maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal or other incidental duties as required
