The Town of Bel Air is accepting applications for the position of part-time Construction Inspector I in the Department of Public Works. This is a professional part-time position (16 hours per week) that reports to the Associate Engineer and involves a full range of construction related inspection duties.
This employee provides inspection support for small Town projects such as new sidewalk installation or overlaying streets. Works closely with contractors on utility permits and resurfacing projects. In addition, this employee is responsible for inspection surveys of road surfaces, damaged sidewalk, park maintenance, above ground fuel tanks, fire extinguishers, and AED Devices.
The pay range is from $21.40 per hour to $36.31 per hour, with a starting wage of $21.40 per hour.
