Job Description

Job Description

ADMET is a leading global manufacturer of materials testing systems for customers in the aerospace, automotive, biomedical, composites, plastics, and metals industries, as well as major universities and government laboratories. We empower quality control and R&D teams to perform thorough, repeatable testing aligned with ASTM, ISO, and self-developed test standards. Our solutions seamlessly integrate testing into our customers’ operations and produce precise mechanical property insights. In our Norwood, MA facility, we build both catalog and custom-engineered testing machines and accessories.

Modernizing the ADMET brand is a top priority for 2026. To bring us up to today’s standard and unlock new growth in our customer base, we are launching several key marketing initiatives, including a website redesign, a CRM system update, and several large-scale email marketing campaigns. To execute these plans, we need a skilled Product Marketing Engineer capable of producing exceptional written content at a high volume.

This is a unique role: part engineer, part storyteller, and part creative. This successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex mechanical testing concepts into clear, engaging content that attracts, educates, and converts our highly technical buyer audience. Additionally, you’ll work hands-on with our equipment, collaborate closely with engineers and leadership, and play a central role in elevating ADMET’s brand identity and market presence. You’ll benefit from a strong growth trajectory, including a fast-paced ramp-up period, followed by the opportunity to take on additional marketing responsibilities and become a leader and champion of ADMET’s brand identity as you progress.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Create quality written content for ADMET website, email, and media collaborations
  • Manage monthly content launch against pre-established marketing plan
  • Become an expert in the use of ADMET testing machines for specific applications
  • Prepare for and lead product demos and webinars for prospective customers
  • Produce promotional product documentation for Sales teams on ad-hoc basis
  • Plan for and attend industry trade shows (business travel up to 4 weeks per year)

The role will report directly to ADMET’s Director of Marketing, and work cross-functionally with others in marketing, sales, and engineering positions. Your success will be measured by the quality of content produced, number of marketing activities completed, and overall growth in marketing- and sales-qualified leads.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to draft excellent technical writing at fast pace and high volume
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace products
  • A drive to prove ADMET’s value and grow our marketing and sales pipeline

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Capability to manage several priorities at once and see them to completion
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and simple writing
  • Comfort with frequent iteration cycles with in-depth constructive feedback
  • Extracurricular experience in a small, technically-focused team (e.g., FSAE, Baja, Robotics Club, Rocketry Club)
  • Demonstrated understanding of voice of the customer, their challenges and needs
  • Eagerness to learn ADMET’s testing machines and to learn customer’s test methods
  • Mindfulness of ADMET’s customer experience, core values, and overall brand voice
  • Willingness to learn non-core marketing skills (e.g., graphic design, photo editing, video production, search engine optimization, social media marketing)

Salary and Benefits Information:

  • Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000 per year plus performance-based bonus
  • Work Type: Full-time in-person shift at ADMET’s factory in Norwood, MA
  • Benefits: 401(k) with company match, PTO, health, dental, vision, life insurance
