\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM with variable start times
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2
\n• Rotate primarily between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
\n• 40 guaranteed hours per week
\n• On-call requirement of 24 hours per 6-week schedule period as needed
\n• Float within service line to meet facility needs
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-timers accepted
\n• No weekend requirements (nights, call, or weekends not required but may be available)
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry
\n• PACU and critical care experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Must pass Relias EKG exam
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Manage complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
\n• Care for surgical patients from GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT procedures
\n• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
\n• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility (no local candidates accepted)

The facility features a specialized PACU unit in Parkview Tower that manages complex postoperative patients requiring advanced nursing skills. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams, ensuring high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art medical environment.
