Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time, onsite opportunity is available for an Elementary English Learner (EL) Teacher to support students in a general education setting. This contract position runs from early January through early June and offers approximately 18.75 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with some flexibility.

Location: Elementary school setting in the Saint Paul, MN area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted EL instruction to elementary students to support language development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate EL strategies into classroom activities.
• Assess student progress and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse language proficiency levels.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success for EL students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota English Learner (EL) teaching license or certification.
• Experience teaching EL students, especially in elementary general education settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Commitment to student growth and cultural responsiveness.
